Seidhr Is

Seiðr is a challenge to societal values, a dissection of accepted truth, a push past the boundaries of perception, a path of non-conformity, and a separation of Self from established norms - in short, intense Self-exploration. All of which also lends itself towards understanding why the Church so vigorously opposed this particular practice - specifically by name - but not that of divination or runes.
